How to write web service in android on same database (MySql)?

Please answer me,I wanna to know how web service work clearly.I already study about of web service but I haven't concept to understand web service architecture.So I request to MZ's Contributor for this thread.

Android doesn't support SOAP library. You need to use external library http://code.google.com/p/ksoap2-android/ or write your own.
